Because he made the title, reigns made it clear that his title was more relevant now. Despite that, Joe Hendry gave a valiant effort but ended up losing the match when Mysterio again helped McDonagh, and he won the match after delivering a flying headbutt. Both World Champions, Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn, met each other in the ring. It started off as a friendly reunion between former Bloodline members, but quickly got heated up ahead of their Crown Jewel Championship match. He ended the segment by saying that looking at Sami’s track record, he might not be the World Champion by the time Crown Jewel arrives. Penta stared down Roman Reigns as he entered for his match against Bron Breakker. Both men had a hard-hitting battle in the opening match of RAW. Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri tried to run interference, but Je’Von Evans appeared and took advantage of the chaos to hit Breakker with the MITB briefcase, and Penta then hit him with the Mexican Destroyer to win the match. JD McDonagh had Dominik Mysterio in his corner, who ran interference on his behalf. This was a singles match from the women’s division. It was an enthralling bout. In the closing moments, Bayley appeared from underneath the ring to distract Lyra Valkyria and then vanished. Lola Vice took advantage and hit her with the spinning back fist to win the match. This was a triple threat match for Chad Gable’s WWE Intercontinental title. Despite the odds, he held his own in the battle against luchadors like Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. It was perhaps the best match of the night that ended with Gable using the small package on Mysterio to win and retain his title.

This was a tag team match that was a back-and-forth exchange between both sides throughout the bout.
