Nagpur/Lucknow: A court in Nagpur on Wednesday granted three-day transit remand of model and social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey and their driver Tanveer Ali alias Danish to Lucknow Police in connection with the death of restaurant owner Shiva Sharma , officials said.
The arrests come after Shiva (28) died on Oct 9 after falling from the fourth floor of Awadh Green Apartments in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area. Deputy commissioner of police (Central Zone) Arpit Vijayvargiya said the three accused were being brought to Lucknow by road under tight security. Investigators traced them to a rented flat on the 11th floor of an apartment building in Chinchbhavan, Nagpur, police said. Shraddha, Rashmi and Danish were arrested in Nagpur on Tuesday by a joint team of Lucknow Police, Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and Maharashtra Police after an inter-state search operation.
