Police said an investigation is underway and raids are being conducted to trace the accused. Durgesh alleged that the men abused him, damaged the hotel gate and threatened to kill him and his family within two days. The complainant claimed the entire incident was captured on the hotel’s CCTV cameras. Download the TOI App.
Complainant Durgesh Kumar , a resident of Sarai Dayanat, alleged that he was standing outside his hotel near Siya Devi Hospital on National Highway around 10.40pm when the accused arrived in a car, according to the FIR. He alleged that they drove the vehicle towards him at high speed in an attempt to run him over. Durgesh managed to escape into the hotel, but the accused allegedly chased him inside and opened fire with a country-made pistol and other firearms. He hid inside the premises and escaped unharmed. The accused were identified as Ankit Yadav alias LL, Tanuj alias Shakti, Ankush, Alok Yadav, Abhinav Yadav and Sumit Pahalwan.
