Officials and staff from revenue, relief and rehabilitation, and agriculture departments worked on a priority basis to ensure the direct transfer of the assistance into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. We are actively addressing these issues to ensure that no eligible farmer is left out,” the official added. Officials stated that the department is continuously monitoring the disbursement process and that the remaining eligible farmers will receive their assistance once the technical issues are resolved. “By Saturday, another 10 lakh beneficiaries would have been added,” an official said.
