WWE Crown Jewel 2026 was presented by the Stamford-based wrestling promotion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, tonight. Orton failed to answer the 10-count, and he lost the match. Elsewhere, Cody Rhodes was the Last Man Standing in their hellacious showdown, and Penta and Je’Von Evans won the tag team titles in a captivating bout, making Crown Jewel a major spectacle for the TKO-led company. But she then betrayed Green, cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on her, and won the WWE Women’s title. As the final moments approached, Reigns delivered a thunderous spear and won the match to become the new Crown Jewel Champion.
It was a spectacular Premium Live Event featuring two high-profile Crown Jewel Championship matches that saw Chelsea Green and emerge victorious after a major showdown; however, one of them faced a huge betrayal. Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes clashed in a Last Man Standing match. With no rules to stop them, the former friends-turned-rivals utilized everything in their power to inflict major damage on each other. From foreign objects and hard-hitting moves to action spilling across the ring, it was a physical battering as both men tried to put each other down for the ten count. As the match neared its end, Rhodes beat Orton down and then hit the punt kick. This led Green to roll her up and win the match, becoming the new WWE Crown Jewel Champion. However, Liv Morgan attacked her, and Tiffany Stratton saved her. The main event of WWE Crown Jewel PLE saw World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns battle Saudi favorite and reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn. The match was for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship and both competitors tore down the house with an instant classic. He then showed Zayn respect and held the title high above.
Austin Theory and Bron Breakker, with Bronson Reed and Maxxine Dupri in their corner, defended their WWE World Tag Team Championships against Penta and Je’Von Evans. The match was an exciting back-and-forth affair with the tag team titles on the line. As the bout neared its end, Bronson Reed and Maxxine Dupri ran interference, but Oba Femi returned to even the odds and took out Reed. This allowed Penta and Evans to take down Theory and win the match to become new tag team champions. WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green squared off against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Morgan dominated most of the match, but Green held her own. Towards the end, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez came down to help Morgan, but she sent them to the back in her overconfidence.
