The back-and-forth bout saw Evans going for an OG Cutter but Cass stopped him and hit him with the Big Boot to score the pinfall. Post-match, Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh attacked Evans. A spectacular match between Penta and LA Parka concluded with Penta hitting a combination of Sacrifice and Mexican Destroyer to win.
The August 24 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This was Stephanie Vaquer’s first match since WrestleMania 42. This was the first match in the night of the #1 contender tournament for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The show saw an unexpected return with a major twist that has made things more intriguing. Furthermore, Bron Breakker and Oba Femi’s contract signing led to a huge brawl, and a huge match between two brothers is set for next week’s edition of RAW. LA Knight is joined by Solo Sikoa in the opening segment of RAW. The Usos came out and then berated their younger brother for going against them. The heated exchange led to a match between both sides being made official for the main event of the night. LA Primera displayed an excellent showing against Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez. Vaquer hit the double knees on Perez to win the match. However, Liv Morgan tried to attack her, only for Becky Lynch to make the save. The instant classic luchador showdown concluded with Fenix hitting the enziguiri on Lee and then hitting a Mexican Muscle Buster to win the match. Following weeks of attacks, Je’Von Evans had the chance to square off against Big Cass in a singles match.
