The WWE star has revealed that both of his parents will be in attendance at Scotiabank Arena for the August 21 title match. His last appearance with WWE was earlier during a match in the Elimination Chambers PLE on March 1, 2025.
The moment carries a deep personal significance as the wrestler was away from his game for almost 17 months due to his serious neck injury. Now, they’ll have a chance to be there for a potential world championship win. Kevin Owens will have his special moment as his family and parents will attend the Undisputed WWE Championship on the Friday episode of WWE SmackDown in Toronto. Owens explained in an interview with FACES Magazine that having his family together was one of the reasons he specifically wanted his championship opportunity to take place in Toronto. During the Elimination Chambers match, when Sami Zayn was defeated by Kevin Owens, after brutally thrashed inside the ring.
