Carse has played 58 matches for England across all formats and has 14 Test appearances. Brydon Carse has been included in Durham’s team for their County Championship match against Gloucestershire, despite being left out of England’s squad for the second Test against Pakistan at Lord’s. Despite the ongoing investigation, Carse has been named in Durham’s XI for their Division Two match at the Riverside. The game is important for Durham as they continue their push for promotion. Former England captain Ben Stokes and Matthew Potts, who were also seen in footage of Carse being handcuffed, have been selected for Durham. His most recent Test came during the final Ashes match in January.
