To utilize this feature, passengers can link their driving licence to their DigiLocker account via the updated Digi Yatra app, selecting it as their primary credential. However, it is important to note that Digi Yatra services are currently available only at select airports, and travellers should verify the availability of these services at their intended departure points before travelling.
The process can be completed through the updated Digi Yatra app. Users first need to sign in to their existing Digi Yatra account and select the option to add a driving licence as a credential. The app allows users to retrieve the licence through DigiLocker. This means the driving licence must already be linked to the user’s DigiLocker account. Once the document is added and verified, users can select it as their primary credential if required.
