The facility is available across urban areas in Bescom’s eight districts, including Greater Bengaluru Area (GBA), making it probably the first power distribution utility in India to fully digitise electricity connection ownership-transfer process. The biggest advantage is that the entire process — from submitting application and uploading documents to e-stamping, e-signing and payment — can now be completed online through Bescom web self-service (WSS) portal.
