Varanasi: The Incubation Centre of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, received a recognition certificate from the Uttar Pradesh govt on Thursday during a programme held in Lucknow to accelerate the state’s startup policy.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Singh said the recognition will help startups and incubatees associated with the university access various govt schemes more easily. He said it will particularly facilitate access to seed funding, incentives and other govt support related to startup development. Prof Pathardikar said the recognition is being seen as a major achievement toward institutionally strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship at Purvanchal University. He said it will provide better opportunities for students, researchers and emerging entrepreneurs of the Purvanchal region to convert their ideas into startups and take them forward.
