The Instagram Story shared by Olivia Culpo on August 27 featured three familiar faces from the 49ers: her husband Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk. McCaffrey was holding Colette, the daughter he and Culpo welcomed in July 2025, while Kittle and Juszczyk stood beside them. So, whether the family had recently made the decision or simply chose this moment to share it, her Instagram Story was the first clear public sign connecting Kittle to the title.
On August 27, Culpo shared another photo of her daughter with Kittle and wrote, “Imagine her POV @gkittle. Because her family is about to grow again, the timing of Culpo’s post is also worth noting. She and McCaffrey announced in May that they are expecting their second child together. For now, Juszczyk is the only one whose godfather role has been directly confirmed through his own words.
Culpo’s “The Godfathers” post, however, strongly suggests that Kittle now shares that place in Colette’s life. The photo also fits with how close the McCaffrey, Kittle and Juszczyk families have become through their years together in San Francisco. Their friendship has often extended beyond football, with their wives and children also appearing together at different family and team moments. The couple shared the pregnancy news on Culpo’s 34th birthday, posting family photos that included Colette and ultrasound images. The announcement came less than a year after they welcomed their first child. Colette has already become a familiar part of McCaffrey’s life around the 49ers.
