Chennsi: More than 50 women working at Amma Unavagam protested at the Greater Chennai Corporation’s Ripon Buildings on Friday, demanding a wage hike and better working conditions. The workers said they had been seeking a revision in their salaries for the past 13 years and were continuing to work with fewer staff and low pay and demanded a minimum wage of Rs 800 per day.
