Chennai: CISF personnel recovered three live rounds and a magazine from the hand baggage of a woman passenger during security screening at Terminal 1 of Chennai airport on Saturday. The woman was scheduled to travel to Kochi on IndiGo flight 6E-5394, which was scheduled to depart at 8am. The passenger, who was travelling with her family to Kochi, could not produce documents or authorisation for carrying the ammunition. During pre-embarkation screening of domestic passengers, CISF personnel noticed a suspicious image in the woman’s hand baggage and referred it for physical inspection. Security personnel found three live rounds and a magazine in the bag.
