Police later reiterated the closure of the swimming pool, saying on X: “Due to the ongoing major police operation, Aarau Swimming Pool will remain closed until further notice.
Several people were injured after shots were fired during an event in Schachen, Aarau, early Sunday morning, according to Aargau cantonal police. Police said it was not immediately clear whether anyone had been killed or who fired the shots. In a post on X, the police said, “Aarau: Nighttime shots at event in Schachen. Vanessa Rumpold, a media spokesperson for the Aargau Cantonal Police, told Blick that the incident was “located at the horse racing track. “It is not yet clear what exactly happened,” Rumpold added.
