NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old woman was found dead inside the bathroom of her house in Prahladpur Bangar village in outer north Delhi, following which police registered a case and launched a search for her husband, an official said on Sunday. Shahbad Dairy police station received information about the woman’s death on August 29, according to police.
The complainant told police that when he reached his sister’s house, he found her dead while her husband and child were missing from the premises. The body was shifted to the mortuary of BSA Hospital, where it has been preserved for post-mortem to help establish the exact cause and circumstances of her death,” a police officer told news agency PTI. Police said efforts are underway to trace the woman’s husband.
A police team reached the house and found Sabila lying dead inside the bathroom. Her brother, Mohammad Gulab, later approached the police and informed them about the incident. “The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are being investigated. We have registered an FIR.
