2024, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, brought their 15 and the Mahomies Foundation gala back to Kansas City for its fifth annual edition. More than 850 supporters attended the event, helping the foundation grant $1.077 million to 20 Kansas City charities. The foundation highlighted the support in a post following the gala, thanking the more than 850 people who attended and the partners who helped make the event possible.

The organization said the supporters continued to take the event “to a new level each year” and added, “Together, we are changing lives. She said, “This meaningful partnership will expand opportunities for kids everywhere, and the places that have positively impacted Patrick and me. Patrick Mahomes has built much of his legacy on football fields, but his work away from the game has become just as meaningful. In Oct. Let’s keep it rolling! The connection was especially personal. Whitehouse is where Patrick attended high school, while Brittany had experience with a Boys & Girls Club during her childhood. The partnership was designed to provide children with better access to safe spaces, mentors, programs and other resources. Patrick explained why the partnership mattered to him, saying, “Kids who attend a Club, like Brittany once did, are provided with the necessary tools and resources to help this generation not only thrive but lead with compassion and purpose. That same commitment was reflected in Brittany’s words. We are committed to doing all we can to uplift others.”
