Kanpur: The technical action plan for the rabi pulse research initiative for the 2026-27 period was finalized during the closing ceremony of the 31st Annual Group Meeting of the All India Coordinated Rabi Pulses Research Project. This event took place at the Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology on Sunday.

During the meet, scientists and experts held detailed deliberations on research, production, crop improvement and crop protection of rabi pulse crops. The closing ceremony was chaired by CSA vice-chancellor Dr Sanjeev Gupta, while ICAR assistant director general (Oilseeds and Pulses) Dr S K Jha co-chaired it. Director, Bharatiya Dalhan Anusandhan Sansthan, Dr GP Dixit, and assistant director general (Seeds), ICAR, Dr B R Chaudhary, also expressed their views.
