Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar : The Balasaheb Thackeray Turmeric Research and Training Centre in Hingoli has invited entries for a nationwide logo design competition, with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh for the winning design.

Logo Competition Launched for Turmeric Institution

A logo competition has been announced, inviting participants from Maharashtra and across India, including citizens, students, and both professional and amateur designers. The aim is to create a logo that captures the essence and objectives of the institution focused on turmeric cultivation. According to Pradeep Kachhwe, managing director of the centre, submissions must include a concept note detailing the design’s inspiration, thought process, and significance. This initiative seeks to engage a wide range of contributors in representing the institution’s mission visually.

The winner will receive a first prize of Rs 1 lakh and a certificate, while three consolation prizes of Rs 11,000 each will be awarded along with certificates. The Balasaheb Thackeray Turmeric Research and Training Centre was established by the state government in October 2022 to boost turmeric production, processing and research in the region.
