Insomniac Games is getting ready to drop one of the biggest PlayStation exclusives of the year, with Marvel’s Wolverine set to release in just two weeks on September 15, 2026. Through a post on X, PlayStation Game Size specified that Marvel’s Wolverine’s download size is 79.36 GB. Furthermore, considering that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 had an 88 GB download size, and it was an open-world experience, this is quite surprising. Pre-loads begin a week before Marvel’s Wolverine’s release date on September 8. It is expected that the game’s length will be similar to that of Marvel’s Spider-Man, and you can anticipate a playtime of 20-25 hours.
Ahead of the game’s release, some of the key details have now been confirmed, including the download size, the pre-load date, and more. However, the same cannot be confirmed as of now. If you have already pre-ordered the game digitally, make sure you kick off the download as soon as the pre-load window opens. Marvel’s Wolverine is not open-world and will feature a linear storyline. There will be a set sequence of missions that you will be completing to progress through the game.

Marvel’s Wolverine will run at 60 FPS on a base PS5. New Game+ will also feature new Nightmare Challenges to take on harder enemies, new adaptations to spice up your gameplay, and an increased level cap for Logan to wreak more havoc.
