Villager Found Dead Amid Allegations of Threats
A villager named Satish was discovered unconscious and injured in a field approximately 400 metres from a building around 2 am. Despite being rushed to the Trauma Centre, he was pronounced dead during treatment.
Satish’s younger brother, Shivam Yadav, reported that Satish had been threatened two days prior by two local residents, Sunil and Dheeraj, due to an ongoing dispute. In response to the incident, police have registered a case and detained the two suspects. DCP North Amit Kumar Anand confirmed that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as investigators explore all possible angles related to the case.
Family members said Satish had dinner at home around 8 pm and then left for the construction site, where he had recently begun working as a night watchman. He had been hired only five days ago by a contractor identified as Ashok . The under-construction house is owned by a woman who lives in Lucknow, and Satish routinely slept on the rooftop while guarding the property.
