Speaking at the curtain raiser of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Patel said the summit, launched in 2003 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi , has grown into a symbol of global investors’ trust in Gujarat and a key platform for knowledge exchange and business collaboration. The chief minister said VGGS 2027 will spotlight emerging sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, fintech, green hydrogen, green growth, and soft power. Deputy chief minister Harsh Sanghavi, who also holds the industries and home portfolios, underscored Gujarat’s track record of honouring incentive commitments over the past 25 years.
Gandhinagar : Positioning Gujarat as a secure and reliable investment destination, chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday urged investors to make their investments catalysts for development, job creation and innovation as the state works toward the goal of building a “Viksit Gujarat” and contributing to a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047. Highlighting Gujarat’s investor-friendly environment, Patel said policy stability, transparent governance and speedy decision-making have helped attract investments to the state. He said Gujarat offers investors not only land and infrastructure but also skilled manpower, trust, security and a predictable policy framework. Citing Gujarat’s model of “Development with Delivery”, he said the state’s value proposition extends beyond physical infrastructure to include efficient governance and investor confidence. He said the state has successfully combined long-term vision with effective execution, making it a dependable destination for investment.
