Amravati : A 55-year-old cloth trader was killed on the spot after a speeding car rammed his bike from behind near Riddheshwar Mahadev Mandir, on Rahatgaon Road late Sunday night.
Anil Premchand Nanawani, the deceased, owner of ‘Kismat Collection’ in Busy Land Complex, was returning home around 8 pm when a car hit him near Amba Land, said police. Two fled, while the third, Nilesh Jadhav, 32 a resident of Washim, was caught and thrashed by locals before being handed to Nandgaon Peth police.
