Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal directed police and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams to maintain round-the-clock vigilance in flood-affected areas and respond quickly to any emergency, officials said. He also ordered them to ensure the immediate evacuation of residents to safer places whenever required.
