Nagpur: Hudkeshwar police have registered a case against Anil Singh Porate (28) for allegedly threatening a 20-year-old woman to make her old private photographs viral and demanding a ransom of Rs5 lakh after she ended their relationship and married another person.
Allegations of Threats and Privacy Violations
On September 1, Porate allegedly threatened to share her old photographs and gained unauthorized access to her Instagram account. According to police reports, he further threatened to publish her private images with the intent to defame her.
The complainant and the accused were in a relationship for some time.
