Customers will not need to go through the conventional process of obtaining a new LPG connection to purchase the cylinder, according to LPG Dealers Association of India state president Bablu Tiwari. It can be delivered with just minimal paperwork and there are no restrictions on refills,” said Tiwari. It can be supplied with minimal paperwork. “The most important thing is that it is lightweight, will be delivered at the earliest and there is no need for taking connections. The composite cylinder is aimed at households looking for a lighter alternative to traditional metal LPG cylinders, which are difficult to lift and move for some. HP Navya also allows consumers to visually check the LPG level, making it easier to know when a refill is required. HP Navya can also be used as a second cylinder, allowing households to maintain a backup while continuing with their existing LPG connection.

The launch also gives consumers greater flexibility in managing their household LPG requirements. Since there is no cap on refills, customers can order the cylinder whenever required instead of waiting for a fixed refill cycle. The lightweight design is expected to be particularly useful for senior citizens and households where lifting conventional cylinders is difficult.
