Mumbai’s Food and Drug Administration has suspended several food licences.

MUMBAI: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the food licence of EatClub Brands in Goregaon, which operates brands like MOJO Pizza, BOX8, ZAZA Mughal Biryani, Itminaan Matka Biryani, LeanCrust Pizza, and WeFit. The company runs cloud kitchens and functions on a delivery-only model. At EatClub’s facility in Royal Palms, Goregaon, inspectors found a lack of storage facilities for raw ingredients and chemicals, poor pest control, unauthorised sales of ice cream and carbonated beverages, and workers operating without basic safety gear.

In Kurla, Rani Creators Consultant and Service Providers had its food licence suspended as inspections showed an active rodent and pest infestation, stagnant water pooling on broken flooring, and high-risk raw meats stored uncovered next to decaying produce. It did not maintain cooking temperature logs and relied on blackened, degraded frying oil.
