In an email to the court, Director-General of Prisons and Correctional Services Alok Kumar said shifting the duo could pose security challenges as the case is under trial and there are apprehensions of threats. Bengaluru: Two accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, Jagadeesh and Anukumar, will continue to remain at Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, after prison authorities opposed their transfer to Chitradurga District Jail on security grounds. The two are under heightened surveillance at Parappana Agrahara. The development came after their counsel sought an update on their pending transfer application.
