New Delhi: A 28-year-old gardener was found dead inside a room at a farmhouse in south Delhi ’s Maidan Garhi area, police said.
Police said they received information around 4.12pm on Sept 2 that a man was lying face down inside a room at the farmhouse. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased, identified as Ishtiyaq, had an altercation with another gardener working nearby.
During the argument, the accused allegedly assaulted Ishtiyaq and fled, causing his death, police said. When they arrived at the spot, they found the man dead. There were serious injury marks around his neck. The body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem.
