The temple campus, decked up with flowers of several varieties, remained teeming with devotees throughout the day. The festive mood peaked during the grand Nand Utsav and Dahi Handi competition, which recreated the exuberance traditionally associated with Lord Krishna’s childhood pastimes. The celebrations concluded with a grand bhandara. The Dahi Handi event was organised separately for women and men, with earthen pots filled with curd suspended from ropes. Enthusiastic participants formed human pyramids, with one member climbing to the top to break the handi amid loud cheers and applause. The naming and inauguration of Shrila Prabhupad Chowk was another highlight of the celebrations.
