A govt spokesperson said that the collaboration was important not just to ensure world-class facilities at the upcoming airport in UP, but also to provide a massive boost to economic activities in North India and further strengthen the state’s position on the international map. “This initiative will strengthen the food processing and supply chain network in the region and generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities,” an official said.
