Thrissur : A couple and their three-year-old son were killed after a speeding car rammed their motorcycle at Arthatt near Kunnamkulam around midnight on Saturday.
Police have launched a manhunt for the driver, Kunnamkulam SI Rohit said. The deceased are Muneer, 39, of Edakkazhiyur near Chavakkad, his wife Shafna, 28, and their son Muhammed Ameen Ibac. The family was returning home after attending a wedding. As per preliminary information, the family had stopped their motorcycle by the roadside when the speeding car hit them. The impact knocked all three off the motorcycle and the car crashed into an electric post. Muneer, who works in the Gulf, had returned home on vacation a couple of days ago.
