Union minister Giriraj Singh received a death threat via post
Nagar police station SHO Satish Kumar Himanshu had earlier confirmed the incident, PTI reported. Police had registered a case and launched a probe to identify the sender and establish the motive behind the threat.
The letter contained the threat message, “You will be killed shortly by hardcore terrorists”, along with two mobile phone numbers, police said. Singh was informed about the matter by his private secretary and subsequently asked the Begusarai Town police station to register a case, officials said. The development comes days after Union minister Chirag Paswan received a death threat through a letter warning that he would be killed by “hardcore terrorists”.
