Kanpur: Two siblings from Atwa Baik village in Unnao’s Ganjmuradabad block reportedly died of swine flu within 24 hours at a private hospital in Lucknow after testing positive for the virus. Their deaths have raised concerns among relatives, prompting the health department to collect samples from 16 villagers who had been in contact with them.
The 50-year-old man was admitted to the private hospital on Aug 30 after developing fever and breathing problems. His test confirmed H1N1 swine flu on Sept 2, and his condition worsened later that night, leading to his death.
