Mumbai: Maharashtra cabinet on Tuesday approved the renewal of the lease for Kaivalyadhama Ishwardas Chunnilal Yogic Centre in Bhuleshwar at a concessional rate.

As the lease of the land of this institution had expired, a proposal was submitted to the cabinet to renew the lease at the rate of Rs 12 per annum for the next 30 years. The cabinet also approved the allotment of 1,735 sq m of land in its possession to the Bhikkhu Sangh United Buddhist Mission in Chembur. Taking note of the public interest work of this institution, this proposal was approved. Kaivalyadham Ishwardas Chunilal Yogic Health Centre is an institution working in the field of health and provides education, training and treatment in Yoga, Pranayam, Naturopathy, Ayurveda. Scientifically based yoga research, postgraduate diploma courses, and daily yoga seminars are conducted here. This land in the possession of this organisation is used for a children’s hostel, a kitchen and some parts are used for religious purposes. The organisation had requested through the Konkan Divisional Commissioner for the land to be leased at a nominal rate, which was approved. Download the TOI App.
