HYDERABAD: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday announced a comprehensive inquiry into incidents surrounding BRS leaders’ remarks on speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar developments at the Erravelli farmhouse.

The inquiry will be led by police officer Vijay Kumar, he said. Revanth said criminal cases had been booked against those who conspired and those who made objectionable remarks. He said courts might grant bail to those facing cases, but Telangana society would not “give bail” to such leaders. Revanth said the govt would take the incidents seriously and ensure that those responsible faced due action.
