A wall on the ground floor had been removed on the day of the collapse to create space for a shop, according to police sources. Investigators are checking who Lovneesh called first after the five-storey building collapsed, what was discussed and whether the conversations or messages could reveal details about the incident or the actions of those involved immediately afterwards. The investigation into the collapse and the roles of those associated with the building and PG is continuing.
NEW DELHI: As the hunt for absconding PG operator Shubham Tyagi intensifies, Delhi Police are turning to the mobile phone of his co-accused Sudhanshu Lovneesh to reconstruct what happened immediately after the Satya Niketan building collapse, including whom Lovneesh contacted first and what he discussed about the tragedy, sources said on Thursday. The development comes as investigators continue to determine what led to the collapse on Sunday, which killed seven people — five students and two labourers and injured five others.
