Nashik : Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation ( MSRTC ) will resume operating its north Maharashtra-bound bus services from Mela Bus Stand from Friday, ending the temporary arrangement at Nimani Bus Stand that had been in place for the past few months due to traffic restrictions at Dwarka Junction.
Officials said concreting work at the terminal was set to begin soon and requires additional open space for phased execution. “Relocating these routes to Mela Stand will help decongest Nimani Bus Stand and facilitate the upcoming development work,” the official said. The shift comes as MSRTC prepares Nimani Bus Stand for infrastructure upgrades ahead of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
