With hours left to go for the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 1 match against the Denver Broncos, Patrick Mahomes has sparked a heated debate, Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs’ top quarterback has been a force to be reckoned with on the field but his injuries on his left knee have remained a topic of debate.
Back when Patrick Mahomes got injured in Week 15, he weighed in on his recovery and said, “It’s nine months.
It’s the amount of time [doctors] said from the beginning, that if I did everything the right way, I would be ready to play Week One. I’m someone that, if you put [a goal] out in front of me, I want to go out and get it and maximize every single opportunity, every rep in the weight room, every hour that I can spend in the building to get my body right. ” He added, “This has always been the plan. From the day I got the surgery, as quick as I did, to hopefully the first game of the year, the plan will go accordingly, and I’ll be able to go out there and be myself.”
A few hours ago, as the three time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player spoke to reporters, he seemed agitated as he added, “Hopefully I’m done with questions about the leg…” and walked off the stage. A fan took to X and posted, “Yes you can tell by the way he turned he’s not shifting instead he picked up his leg and then walked off”, another fan posted, “he has a lot of attitude for a subpar QB that can’t do anything without the league rigging games for him”.
