Kolkata: The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) on Friday brought together HR representatives of around 40 corporate houses and industry bodies in Kolkata to explore employment opportunities for ex-servicemen and strengthen their transition to second careers after leaving the armed forces. The DGR & Corporate HR Conclave, organised by the Directorate of Resettlement Zone (East) at the Army Officers Institute in Vijay Durg, focused on creating stronger links between the armed forces, the resettlement machinery and the corporate sector.
