The pregnancy comes almost three years after Mahira married businessman Salim Karim in October 2023. In an interview with Dawn, the actress said she was 24 when she was pregnant with Azlan. Now 41, she admitted that the experience has been much harder physically and emotionally. “The last time I was pregnant I was 24. I’m 41 now, so I’m literally a different woman … emotionally, physically, in every possible way,” she said. She also spoke about how, at 24, she approached pregnancy with a certain innocence.
The soft dress, her pregnancy glow and that one emotional caption said enough. “We make plans and then there is ALLAH’S plan,” Mahira wrote. “You imagine a lot of things for yourself and for your life, and this wasn’t necessarily one of the things I had imagined at this point,” she said.
