Earlier, Nainital police said an investigation was underway into the FIR registered against Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on the alleged ‘purification’ ritual conducted at Haldwani’s Ramlila Ground after Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s rally on August 8.
