Dewan bought the roughly 7,200-square-foot Encino property in 2021 after years of moving around according to Morning Star.
“It makes me feel so happy that it’s in our house,” she said. Jenna Dewan has filled her Los Angeles home with pieces that feel both stylish and deeply personal. She placed it near a new marble fireplace in the living room, where it became a natural gathering spot. The kids love climbing onto the bench, and guests often sit down to play. Steve, who starred in the Broadway musical Once, actually knows how to play it properly, which makes the instrument feel even more alive in the home. She was looking for a true home base with plenty of space for her daughter Evie and son Callum, along with their dogs. The open kitchen flows into a family room with floor-to-ceiling glass that opens to a backyard complete with a pool and play area. Soft edges and rounded corners were deliberate choices so the children could move freely without constant worry. A green velvet sofa she brought from her previous home adds a familiar, cozy touch amid the cleaner modern lines. Combining two styles without losing the warmth Steve’s more into the minimal look with things like Edison bulbs, and Dewan’s more into cozy textures and crystals. Working with designer Julien Marbot of Interior Particulier, they found a middle ground that feels balanced.
