Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offers chocolate to a child during ‘Janta Darshan’, at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday
A govt spokesperson said the chief minister instructed Police Commissioners, ADGs, IGs, DIGs and SSP-rank officers to treat such complaints with priority and ensure accountability. “Complaints of negligence at the police station, outpost or beat level in any matter will not be tolerated. Ensure that action as per rules is taken against those responsible in every case,” the spokesperson quoted him as saying. The chief minister also interacted with children who accompanied their parents, asked about their studies and interests, and distributed chocolates.
Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday took a stern view of complaints against Uttar Pradesh Police raised during Janata Darshan at his Lucknow residence, and directed senior officers to act against negligence at police stations, outposts and beat levels.
