Each school will receive Rs1 lakh for the work,” a district administration official said. “The schools are located at Aaghar Khurd Bandharpada, Kashti, Ghanegaon, Tingri, Wake Dongrale, Nilgavan, Pandhrun, Rawalgaon, Wadel, Soundane, Aaghar Khurd, Anjan, Wadel Umbareswar, Kandane, Lendane, Gugalwad, Mohpada and Tipe,” the official added. “The collector said that timely royalty payments enable the foundation to construct clean drinking water units in remote schools, lay durable concrete roads across rural belts, and implement essential public welfare schemes and hence the concerned should clear the dues on time,” the official said.

Prasad has also urged all the mining leaseholders to follow govt regulations strictly, utilize e-tendering frameworks, and adhere to online procedural guidelines without delay. Download the TOI App.

Administrative approval of Rs32 lakh has been granted for the road concreting project stretching from Soygaon Sub Station to Fauzdarwadi Grama-235. The projects will be funded under the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana, aimed at improving educational and physical infrastructure in areas affected directly or indirectly by mining activities .Nashik district collector and district mineral foundation chairperson Ayush Prasad approved the proposals. All these school water network installations will be executed directly through the Public Works Department, Malegaon. Alongside these critical educational upgrades, substantial funding has been directed toward rural transport infrastructure. This infrastructure assignment will be completed under the supervision of zilla parishad executive engineer. Addressing the region, Prasad has appealed to all the local mine owners and minor mineral excavators to deposit their due royalty amounts on time and with complete transparency.
