Chennai: A man died after being flung off the Kathipara flyover and falling around 30ft to the ground below when the motorcycle he was riding rammed into the parapet in Guindy on Monday evening.
The deceased was identified as Kumar, 20, who was employed at a private firm. Perarasu , 20, a student, who was riding pillion, is undergoing treatment at a hospital. On information, personnel from the St Thomas Mount Traffic Investigation Wing rushed to the spot and shifted Perarasu to the Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital in Guindy. Police retrieved Kumar’s body and sent it to Tambaram District Govt Hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered and further investigation is on. Download the TOI App.
