Mumbai: In a move to ensure safety, dignity, and convenience for women passengers, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toyota Kirloskar Motor to set up 125 ‘Hirkani Kaksh’ or dedicated lactation pods across state bus stations.
Key Highlights of the project: Three-Year Phased Rollout: 50 pods in 2026–27, 50 in 2027–28, and 25 in 2028–29.
