Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh announced that the cabinet has approved the construction of three new bus stations. This development aims to enhance public transportation infrastructure in the region, addressing growing demand for efficient transit options.
Minister of state (independent charge) for transport, Dayashankar Singh, said improved transport facilities would foster social development, raise living standards, and boost tourism. Lucknow: UP cabinet approved construction of bus stations at three locations in the state and sanctioned proposal to transfer and mutate land belonging to revenue department to the transport department, free of cost, for construction of bus stations in Shohratgarh and Barhni (within the Shohratgarh assembly constituency of Siddharthnagar district) and in the Sawayajpur tehsil of Hardoi district. This infrastructure development will enhance the road network and alleviate traffic-related issues.
