Pune: A 20-month-old girl was run over by a tempo while it was being reversed at the entrance of Omkar Rose Nursery at Soratpawadi Phata on Pune-Solapur Highway around 9.30am on Sunday. The girl’s father, Swakid Ramesh Adivasi (21), is originally from Bihar. Senior inspector Vijaymala Pawar of Uruli Kanchan police said, “The girl was playing in the nursery. She was alone while her parents were working there. The tempo arrived at the nursery and without taking due care, its driver reversed it and hit the child. He currently lives in Soratpawadi. Download the TOI App.
