Anthropic brings Claude’s AI tools into one place
The company says Claude can now decide what a task needs without users having to choose between chat, Cowork or Claude Design. Claude developer Anthropic is merging Claude’s chat and Cowork features into a single interface. This will let users handle both quick questions and larger, multi-step tasks in the same conversation. The update also brings new Claude Docs and Claude Slides tools, while Claude Design is being integrated into conversations. The update also introduces Claude Docs and Claude Slides in beta for paid users. Users can ask Claude to create a document or presentation directly inside a conversation and then continue editing it.
Claude Integration Enhances User Experience
Anthropic has integrated its Cowork and Claude Design tools to streamline user workflows. Previously, Cowork was intended for larger projects, while Claude Design focused on visual tasks. However, user feedback indicated that the separation of these tools was causing frustration, particularly when transferring work between them.
Now, users can seamlessly edit documents and presentations within Claude, share them via a single link, and download their work in PowerPoint or PDF formats. Additionally, Claude Design remains accessible during conversations, although the standalone Design experience will continue to be available for users who prefer it.
New Features for Pro and Max Subscribers
Anthropic announced that new features will be rolled out to Pro and Max subscribers over the coming weeks. This update will be available across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. The company aims to enhance user experience by integrating tools, allowing users to maintain context, connectors, and skills throughout their tasks without needing to switch between separate applications.
Claude rollout plan for Pro and Max users
The combined Claude experience is rolling out to Pro and Max subscribers over the coming weeks. It is available through the Claude app on web, desktop and mobile, and users do not need to enable anything manually.
